Sinch Service Affecting Notification

Description: On Tuesday October 8th at 9pm CDT the Sinch Operator Connect platform will undergo minor maintenance. This will not be a service affecting event.
This maintenance will affect the behavior as it relates to Microsoft Operator Connect caller ID information on forwarded and transferred calls. Currently, the caller ID sent by Microsoft is that of the service or person originating the forward or transfer. Microsoft has recognized this behavior is not ideal for customers that require visibility of the originating caller’s information. Post maintenance, the originating caller’s ID will be sent instead when calls are forwarded or transferred to another party.
This change will affect all Microsoft Operator Connect clients. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sinch Customer Support.
Impact: For Microsoft Teams Operator Connect clients, the originating caller’s ID will be sent instead of forwarder party ID or transferring party ID when calls are forwarded or transferred to another party.
While it is important to perform maintenance such as this to ensure the quality of our service, Sinch takes all necessary precautions to alleviate any inconvenience to our customers.
